BOUCHARD Henri 

Born in Dijon, he studies at the Beaux-Arts and moves to Paris to learn under Lemaire at les Arts Décoratifs, and Barrias at the Beaux-Arts. He wins the Grand prix de Rome in 1901 and moves to Montparnasse from 1906 where he starts to be known. He will be a resident at the Villa Medicis and exhibits in the Salon from 1940. He becomes a teacher at the Parisian Beaux-Arts in 1925. His work is displayed in many museums in Paris such as Rodin, Orsay, Petit Palais or Arts Décoratifs. Bouchard works with materials such as plaster or bronze.
