JOACHIM Jean (1905-1990)
Joacquim studies in the Beaux-Arts in Paris under Pompon, helping him to execute his “Grand ours blanc”. He later exhibits his own creations in the Salon from 1930. His style will be more naturalist than his teacher's. He teaches art at the Ecole des Arts Appliqués and conceives medals and female busts. He mostly works with stone, marble and bronze cast by Bodin or Clementi.
