QUINQUAUD Anna (1890-1984)

She is born in Paris from a sculptor mother and studies at the Beaux-Arts under Hannaux and Segoffin. In 1912, her first works are exhibited at the Salon and she is rewarded by an award of Women Painters and Sculptors. A trip to Africa changed her carreer since the artwork she came back with made her well known. Back from a second trip to the continent in 1930, her statuettes are loved by the parisians and will be exhibited in the Salon Colonial. She receives many orders in Paris and Africa. Her materials are very various, from clay or marble to bronze or biscuit.
