TROUBETZKOY Prince Paul (1866-1938)


Born in Italy, he studies under Bazzaro in Milan and, influenced by Rodin and Rosso, he starts sculpting. He works in a very impressionist style and teaches art in a russian academy. At the 1900 Exposition Universelle, he is discovered by the public and earns a international renown. He becomes one of the teachers of Rembrant Bugatti.
